Group Bookings
Kronosaurus Korner offers two types of guided tours for group bookings of 10 or more people. Guided tours are by prior arrangement only.
MUSEUM TOUR
This tour can be tailored to suit any type of group and usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. A trained guide will be on hand for the tour and will readily answer any questions that may arise. The tour starts with the 12 minute theatrette presentation, followed by a description of our major fossils, finishing with an explanation on the preparation techniques used in our laboratory.
FOSSIL HUNTING SITE TOUR
A trained guide will accompany the group to our fossicking site, 12km to the north of town. All groups must provide their own transport to the site. This tour usually lasts for about 1 hour and gives everyone the opportunity to discover a fossil of their own. The guide will be able to identify the fossils as they are found and give advice on how to prepare and preserve them.
Booking are essential, please complete the Tour Group Booking Form or contact Kronosaurus Korner for more information.
