Richmond Community Bush Tucker Garden
The Richmond Community Bush Tucker Gardens was a finalist in the Banksia Foundation Environmental Awards July 2008. The gardens showcase the native plants of the area listing the indigenous culinary and medicinal uses. The garden features a waterfall that depicts where the basalt country meets the white gravel and is the birthplace of the gardens. Moon Rocks are scattered throughout the garden, generously donated by local property Silver Hills. In the centre of the gardens is a 100 million year old fossilised wood encased in a Moon Rock standing over 2 metres high. Local gidgee stones line the garden beds and have helped reduce the erosion of the soil into the Lake. The Gardens were built as a joint project with Enviro Funds from the Federal Government, CDEP labour through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and the Richmond Shire Council. 2 community tree planting days were well attended by local people who donated plants to the gardens.

Cambridge Downs Store and Post Office
This attraction is a replica of the Cambridge Downs Homestead that become the Store and Post Office in the late 1800’s. The Store was a Cobb & Co Stop and essential for travellers on their way to the Woolgar Gold Mines in the North of the Shire. The attraction will showcase memorabilia from yesteryear including a fully restored Cobb & Co Coach and other machinery from the pioneering days.
