Meet Krono, a fun loving cretaceous marine lizard who lives in a cave down by Lake Creta, way out in what is now known as western Queensland. Everyday this happy Plesiosaur swims around the lake, playing swamp-ball with his friends and discussing important things like the weather, ways of keeping your scales clean or what are the tastiest fish, mud lobsters and ammonites to eat!
Best of all he likes swamp-racing with his good mate, Speedy the Richmond Pliosaur. Krono wears a pair of big red flippers for extra speed as he tries to catch up with Speedy. But no one can keep up with Speedy as he zooms around the lake on his homemade jet ski. .. Not unless the Pliosaur's 'vroom-vroom' machine runs out of fossil fuel!
Visitors are always welcome in Krono's cave where he holds his weekly art classes for the local dinosaurs.
(Krono's paintings are not the best you've ever seen but they're pretty good for a toothy swimming lizard that lived 112 million years ago)
Currently he's teaching them to paint pretty pictures of prehistoric plants in flowerpots … Adam the Allosaurus gets a bit bored and has eaten three paintings already!
Krono is a very smart, clever Kronosaurus, he knows absolutely everything that goes on around and in Lake Creta and is always ready to give advice (even if he's not asked) or to help any lizard in trouble.
