You don't have to take a lot of tools with you - in fact most people don't have any equipment and still manage to make some wonderful finds. Some of the common fossils that are found in the area include belemnites, fish bones and scales, inoceramus shells and shark teeth.
After making a fossil discovery you are more than welcome to come back and have it identified at the centre. We even have a special board where we will display a photo of yourself with you find.
