July 2009 saw a visit from the Fossil club of NSW organized by Jenny Hall club president with 15 members. Paul took the club out for 7 days to various sites of different ages with different fossil deposits. Many great finds were discovered including a perfect Elasmosaur tooth discovered by Steve and Robin Koller. As well as some perfectly preserved ammonites, such as the giant Tropaeum and the smaller myloceros. Other trips included a site where large numbers of coprolites (Fossil poo) are found together with shark teeth and ichthyosaur remains. |
