Become a Krono school and enjoy a fun and educational program for all ages. A newsletter will be sent on a regular basis to keep you up to date with any exciting discoveries or events taking place at Kronosaurus Korner.

We offer school groups the opportunity to undertake tours through Kronosaurus Korner and to the fossicking sites with a trained tour guide.

We can also get Krono to make an appearance on request to make the educational experience loads more fun. Make sure you mention his name when booking your tour of the Centre.

Fossil Centre Tours

Guided fossil centre tours are for all classes including preschoolers. Tours are tailored to suit the appropriate age group, therefore times will vary. Most tours take between 45 minutes to 1 hour. The tours are offered throughout the year and bookings are essential. Admission fees are $5.00 per student and all tour leaders are free of charge.

Fossicking Tours

Your fossicking adventure will start with a short drive of 12km to the north of Richmond to the site. All schools are to provide their own transport and if possible provide a seat for the tour guide. This tour takes about 1 hour and thirty minutes. Students will have fun searching for and uncovering 100 million year old fossils. Once again bookings are offered throughout the year and are essential. Fees are $5.00 per student and all tour leaders are free of charge.
